Safe births. Fed children. Girls who finish school.

We work alongside mothers and children in four Ugandan districts, one household at a time.

A household almost never has one problem. The mother who cannot reach a midwife at night is often the mother whose daughter has stopped going to school. So we register a family once, and then follow that same family across every programme we run.

What the work adds up to

A child is counted once she has been weighed. Attendance comes from the school register, not from a self-report.

Mothers and children reached
Deliveries supported
Children treated for malnutrition
Girls kept in school

Four districts, covered properly

I kept the voucher folded in my dress for two months. Then one night the pains started.

The next household is already registered.

What decides whether we reach her this year is money that arrives before the lean season, not after it.
